May 5,2011 Happy Cinco de Mayo. We enjoyed our full day in beautiful Beaufort SC. Well, sort of. Between a trip to do grocery shopping & working on the anchor rollers (replaced the bolts, thanks to the advice we got from our "floatingpoet" mechanic) Would you believe Gardner took the anchor off & put it back on three times? Anal much? We were able to slip in a bike ride over to Sea Island/Ladies Island. The weather is still very cool for this time of year (53 when we got up this morning) But this town is very lovely & the people are very friendly. If we didn't have a destination to get to we could spend lots more time here. Tommorow we're off again heading north on the ICW.
