May 30, 2011 A passing thunder storm woke us at 6 am. Thank goodness it was gone quickly. After everything dried out we took a walk into Jersey City via the walking paths running through Liberty State Park. Found a Bank of America & Radio Shack (both very important) & strolled back to the marina. Rob came over & picked us up so we could go grocery shopping. Once we got the groceries unloaded we took a walk through part of Liberty Park,(& Ellis Island) They are really going to enjoy the area when they move next month. Saorla was so much fun to play with. She learned how to pull on Grandpa's beard. We headed back to Manhattan to meet up with Karen. After Saorla enjoyed her dinner we walked up to Henry's-a local family style restaurant. Enjoyed a great meal with them . Rob dropped us back at the boat later so we could get ready for our trip tomorrow through "Hell's Gate". We're sad to say goodbye, especially to Saorla. But we promised to see them again soon (we hadn't seen them in 6 months).
